My New Zealand Honeymoon

I originally thought I would just post a few photos from my honeymoon driving around the South Island of New Zealand but it's such an amazingly beautiful place, I couldn't help but post more! This is only a small selection of the places we visited. I took over 5 thousand photos so I definitely have not edited them all! Please excuse the all over the place watermarking! I forgot I should be changing my watermark for the first few weeks as a married woman!

Levitate

I am starting a new project over winter while there aren't as many weddings to shoot. It's a self portrait series with the theme of leviation. This is the first photo and my first attempt at the technique. I am really happy with how it turned out! I'm a devout Lightroom user so my photoshop skills aren't great but I am glad I have the skills to do this. Hopefully I learn some more over the course of this series!

Ange and Stu's Wedding

I was lucky enough to shoot a wedding for Silver 7 Photography at Samurai Beach Resort before they stopped doing weddings. It was a beautiful setting, surrounded by bushland giving it a very intimate feel. Ange and Stu had a DIY aspect to their wedding with Ange doing the flowers herself and family members helping with the decorations. These are some of my favourite shots that I edited myself.
Ange's Dress was stunning

Awesome artwork done by one of the groomsmen

This tree was the backdrop to the ceremony and made for a fun photo with the whole bridal party climbing it!

The awesome cheese wheel cake! It was a hot summer day and one of the soft cheese wheels had cracked and oozed down the side but everyone was so happy and relaxed, it wasn't a problem!

Finger print tree!

The gorgeous DIY flowers and wood candle holders

One of the groomsmen doing some fire twirling! What a fun night!
